Not long after Emma was diagnosed, a friend of ours told us about a beautiful book called, The Shack. The novel is one man’s account of his encounter with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit and how he was healed and transformed as a result of it. The phrase “I am especially fond of you” is a phrase God uses several times throughout the book describing His love for all of his children. This description of how much God loves his children was a wonderful reminder for me during such a difficult time in our lives. http://www.theshackbook.com

Beautiful baby girl.
She looks beautiful and very happy there. Anniversaries are so hard. Praying for you.
Nearly five years ago, this little angel came into the world, no one knowing how many hearts she would touch or how many hugs she would give. But WOW, Emma conquered so much more than imaginable and left such a legacy. Emma's Hugs, a wonderful organization that gives "hugs" to so many folks that really need a " hug". If you are not familiar with this organization, please inquire....you will be surprised at the outpouring of generosity. Emma's Hugs will continue to be felt through this dynamic and loving organization. We love you Emma!
